As you enter, tucked away amidst the bookshelves of Another Country Bookstore, you’ll be greeted by the lovely manager of the bookshop Kiki, and our host A Girl Called Kill, a seasoned practitioner and advocate for feminist BDSM. Whether you arrive solo or with a partner, Domina Tapas invites you to expand your knowledge and embrace your inner Domina in a supportive and empowering environment. Explore your potential with confidence and curiosity through our workshops designed for aspiring Dommes, amateur kinksters, and those curious about the electrifying world of BDSM.

In our Domina Tapas Workshop, you will get a light selection from many different fields of BDSM, so you can discover new possibilities. In our Bondage, Suspension, and Breath Play Workshop, you will learn more advanced suspension ties and the nuances of carotid artery choking. In our Sadism and Impact Play Workshop, you will learn about tactile torture tools and the many forms of impact sadism.

Domina Tapas Workshop

Domina Tapas is a sampling session of the fundamentals of bondage, impact play, pleasure, safety, and consent, taught with a model. Each section is 15-30 minutes, and the full class is 2 hours. Through engaging lectures and hands-on practice, participants will get a light selection of kinky tapas, exploring the essential elements of BDSM while guided by a feminist and queer approach. Each element is carefully chosen to not only impart practical skills but also to foster a deeper understanding of the power dynamics at play and the importance of communication and trust within BDSM relationships. Practical demonstrations provide a hands-on learning experience, allowing participants to witness and engage in various BDSM techniques under expert guidance.

Subjects include:

Misattribution of Desire
Advanced Consent and Pre-negotiation necessary for D/s play
Single-column and double-column bondage ties in both Shibari and Western rope systems (ropes will be provided for practice, and all the ties can be practiced on either a partner or on yourself)
An introduction to Impact Play with barehanded spanking.
An introduction to one of the most important tools of pleasure: the Hitachi Magic Wand
Finally we will go over the practice and significance of Aftercare, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and support for both submissives and Dominants post-scene.

Bondage, Suspension, and Breath Play Workshop

In this session, participants are treated to a comprehensive two-hour exploration of advanced techniques in bondage, suspension, and breath play. This workshop builds upon the lessons taught in the Domina Tapas workshop, but welcomes individuals with basic experience in BDSM who are eager to expand their horizons. We will be focusing on more advanced floor and partial suspension bondage and proper carotid artery choking in various positions. There will be practical demonstrations and you will also get some hands-on practice with the model. Through thoughtful guidance and compassionate instruction.

Subjects include:

An advanced lecture on the psychology and neurology of D/s and how that relates to advanced forms of consent when you are tying someone up and playing with their brain oxygen levels.
Learning a variety
Learning a Suspension Bondage including Shibari and Western rope systems, including how to make a chest harness, how to suspend a limb, and how to tie uplines. You will learn how to incorporate these ties into a suspension predicament. Ropes will be provided for practice, and all the ties can be practiced on either a partner or on yourself
Advanced Breath Play and Carotid-artery Choking for suspended submissives
Aftercare for both Dommes and submissives

Sadism and Impact Play Workshop

In our Sadism and Impact Play session, participants are treated to a comprehensive two-hour exploration of the artistry of torture and impact play. Through thoughtful guidance and compassionate instruction, A Girl Called Kill ensures that every participant learns to use floggers and riding crops, as well as tactile torture tools. This workshop builds upon the lessons taught in the Domina Tapas workshop, but welcomes individuals with basic experience in BDSM who are eager to expand their horizons. We begins with a lecture on safety and the psychology of subspace in the context of torture. Then there will be practical demonstrations and you will also get some hands-on practice with the model, to hone your skills and deepen your understanding of physical sensation and control.

Subjects include:

An advanced lecture on the psychology and neurology of torture and subspace and how that relates to advanced forms of consent
An introduction to Consensual Torture with a demonstration of nipple clamps, pinwheels and other tools of Sadomasochism
The majority of the class is dedicated to impact play with demonstrations of barehanded spanking, paddles and riding crop, as well as a long flogging demonstration. You will be able to practice using the riding crop or flogger on a model.
